Nepal Rastra Bank announces Sunday’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 139.76 and the selling rate at Rs 140.36. The buying rate of one euro is Rs 162.09, while the selling rate is Rs 162.78.

For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs 187.43 and the selling rate is Rs 188.24. One Swiss franc will be bought at Rs 172.78 and sold at Rs 173.52.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar stands at Rs 89.70 and the selling rate at Rs 90.08. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 100.44 for buying and Rs 100.87 for selling. Similarly, the Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 108.41 for buying and Rs 108.88 for selling.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.40 and the selling rate is Rs 9.44. One Chinese yuan will be bought at Rs 19.47 and sold at Rs 19.55.

The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 37.25 and a selling rate of Rs 37.41. The Qatari riyal is listed at Rs 38.35 for buying and Rs 38.51 for selling.

The Thai baht is set at Rs 4.28 for buying and Rs 4.30 for selling. The UAE dirham will be bought at Rs 38.05 and sold at Rs 38.22. The Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs 33.06 for buying and Rs 33.20 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the rates are Rs 10.05 for buying and Rs 10.09 for selling.

Additionally, the Swedish kronor is set at Rs 14.49 for buying and Rs 14.56 for selling. The Danish kroner is listed at Rs 21.71 for buying and Rs 21.81 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.88, and the selling rate is Rs 17.96. The Kuwaiti dinar is listed at Rs 456.79 for buying and Rs 458.75 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 370.68 and a selling rate of Rs 372.27. Similarly, the Omani rial is priced at Rs 363.01 for buying and Rs 364.57 for selling.

For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The central bank has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed. Rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates can be accessed via the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
