Clash forces postponement of Rastriya Prajatantrik Yuva Sangh Kathmandu district convention

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu district convention of the Rastriya Prajatantrik Yuva Sangh, affiliated with Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has been postponed following clashes at the event.

The convention, inaugurated by RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden, erupted into conflict amid an ongoing dispute between Lingden and party General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana.

The factional tension disrupted the youth organization’s proceedings, prompting Chairman Lingden to announce the suspension of the convention.

During the event, Lingden urged participants to maintain discipline and warned that those obstructing the convention would not be tolerated.
