KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has issued today’s foreign exchange rates. The buying rate for one US dollar is 140 rupees 05 paisa, and the selling rate is 140 rupees 65 paisa.
The buying rate for one European euro is 162 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 163 rupees 23 paisa. For one UK pound sterling, the buying rate is 188 rupees 40 paisa, and the selling rate is 189 rupees 20 paisa. A Swiss franc is being bought at 172 rupees 61 paisa and sold at 173 rupees 35 paisa.
Similarly, one Australian dollar is purchased at 90 rupees 83 paisa and sold at 91 rupees 22 paisa. The buying rate for the Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 48 paisa, with the selling rate at 101 rupees 92 paisa. The Singapore dollar sees a buying rate of 108 rupees 87 paisa and a selling rate of 109 rupees 33 paisa.
Likewise 10 Japanese yen have a buying rate of 9 rupees 43 paisa and a selling rate of 9 rupees 47 paisa. One Chinese yuan is bought at 19 rupees 48 paisa and sold at 19 rupees 57 paisa. The Saudi Arabian riyal is bought at 37 rupees 32 paisa and sold at 37 rupees 48 paisa, while the Qatari riyal is bought at 38 rupees 43 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 59 paisa.
One Thai baht has a buying rate of 4 rupees 31 paisa. The UAE dirham is bought at 38 rupees 13 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 29 paisa. The Malaysian ringgit shows a buying rate of 33 rupees 10 paisa and selling rate of 33 rupees 24 paisa.
Additionally, one hundred South Korean won is purchased at 10 rupees 07 paisa and sold at 10 rupees 11 paisa. The Swedish kronor is bought at 14 rupees 52 paisa and sold at 14 rupees 58 paisa, and the Danish kroner is bought at 21 rupees 78 paisa and sold at 21 rupees 87 paisa.
For the Hong Kong dollar, the buying rate is 17 rupees 84 paisa and the selling rate is 17 rupees 92 paisa. One Kuwaiti dinar is bought at 458 rupees 08 paisa and sold at 460 rupees 05 paisa.
The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is 371 rupees 49 paisa, and the selling rate is 373 rupees 08 paisa. The Omani rial is bought at 363 rupees 76 paisa and sold at 365 rupees 32 paisa.
Similarly, 100 Indian rupees have a buying rate of 160 rupees and a selling rate of 160 rupees 15 paisa.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as required. Commercial banks may set different rates, and the most up-to-date information is available on the central bank’s website.
