Butwal and China’s Xi’an to be establish as sister-city

KATHMANDU: An agreement has been made between Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City of Nepal and Xi’an City of the People’s Republic of China to establish sister-city relationship.

The agreement was made on Sunday during the two-day state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kathmandu.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi and Shiva Raj Subedi, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City exchanged the agreement today in the presence of Prime Minister K P Oli and Chinese President Xi in Kathmandu.

President Xi returned home on Sunday afternoon wrapping up his two-day visit to Nepal.
