KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market surged by Rs 1,900 per tola on Tuesday, reaching an all-time high.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now being traded at Rs 198,500 per tola.
On Sunday, the last trading day, gold was priced at Rs 196,600 per tola.
Silver prices also rose slightly. On Tuesday, silver was trading at Rs 2,280 per tola, up from Rs 2,255 on Sunday.
In gram terms, 10 grams of gold is priced at Rs 170,180, while 10 grams of silver is being traded at Rs 1,955.
