Two parliamentary committees to meet today



KATHMANDU: Two committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today. The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, and the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene on Monday at Singha Durbar.

The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee will meet at 11 a.m. to discuss the Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2025.

The meeting will also include consultations with representatives from Giribandhu Tea Estate and housing/apartment units.

Similarly, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will meet at 1 p.m. to deliberate on the draft report of the Water Resources Bill, 2024.
