Lamahi-Ghorahi road to be closed for four days from August 6

KATHMANDU: The Lamahi-Ghorahi road section in Dang will be closed for four days due to urgent repairs needed on the bridge over the Masot River.

A meeting of stakeholders held at the District Administration Office on Saturday decided to fully close the road section from 7 am on August 6 to 7 am on August 9.

Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Lamsal advised travelers to use the Lamahi-Arjunkhola-Amelia-Tulsipur-Ghorahi route as an alternative. The District Traffic Police Office in Ghorahi has been instructed to manage traffic arrangements accordingly.

It was also decided that the diversion road near the Masot River bridge will be repaired by the Division Office, with essential vehicles allowed to operate under Traffic Police regulation during the closure.
