Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 139.77, while the selling rate is Rs 140.37.

The buying and selling rates for one euro are Rs 159.51 and Rs 160.20 respectively. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 184.02 and sold at Rs 184.81.

Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 171.28 and sold at Rs 172.01. The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 89.88, while the selling rate is Rs 90.26. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 100.77 and sold at Rs 101.20. The buying and selling rates for one Singapore dollar are Rs 107.67 and Rs 108.13 respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen stands at Rs 9.30, and the selling rate is Rs 9.34. Likewise, one Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.38 and sold at Rs 19.46. One Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs 37.26 and sold at Rs 37.42, while the buying and selling rates for one Qatari riyal are Rs 38.34 and Rs 38.51 respectively.

The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.26, and the selling rate is Rs 4.27. The buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 38.05 and Rs 38.22 respectively, and for one Malaysian ringgit, Rs 32.68 and Rs 32.82.

The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.96 for buying and Rs 10.00 for selling. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.24 and sold at Rs 14.30, while the Danish krone is being bought at Rs 21.37 and sold at Rs 21.47.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.81 and the selling rate is Rs 17.88. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 456.53 and sold at Rs 458.49. Likewise, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 370.74 and sold at Rs 372.33. The buying and selling rates for one Omani rial are Rs 363.02 and Rs 364.58 respectively.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time as needed.

It has also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated official rates can be found on the central bank’s website.
