Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is set at Rs 138.37, while the selling rate is Rs 138.97.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs 161.21, and the selling rate is Rs 161.91. The British Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 185.62 and sold at Rs 186.43. The Swiss Franc is priced at Rs 172.70 for buying and Rs 173.45 for selling.

Likewise one Australian Dollar is trading at Rs 90.31 for buying and Rs 91.70 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar stands at Rs 100.78 for buying and Rs 101.22 for selling. The Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs 107.72 and sold at Rs 108.19.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.32, and the selling rate is Rs 9.36. One Chinese Yuan is priced at Rs 19.29 for buying and Rs 19.37 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at Rs 36.89 for buying and Rs 37.05 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is bought at Rs 37.96 and sold at Rs 38.12.

The Thai Baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.27 for buying and Rs 4.29 for selling. The UAE Dirham stands at Rs 37.67 and Rs 37.84 for buying and selling, respectively. One Malaysian Ringgit is priced at Rs 32.70 for buying and Rs 32.85 for selling.

For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is Rs 9.98 and the selling rate is Rs 10.03. The Swedish Krona is bought at Rs 14.45 and sold at Rs 14.51, while the Danish Krone is traded at Rs 21.60 for buying and Rs 21.70 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 17.63 and the selling rate at Rs 17.70. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at Rs 453.27. The Bahraini Dinar is being sold at Rs 368.68. The Omani Rial is priced at Rs 359.39 for buying and Rs 360.95 for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at Rs 160.00, with the selling rate fixed at Rs 160.15.

The central bank has noted that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. Additionally, the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates can be found on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
