JALESWOR: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has said that the incumbent government has ushered in a wave of development across the country.
Addressing a program in Matihani, Mahottari district today, PM Oli stated that the current government, formed through an alliance between the two largest parties—CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress—is working tirelessly to promote development and good governance.
He claimed that significant achievements have been made as infrastructure projects have progressed rapidly, with special priority given to key sectors such as education, health, and transportation.
Also the Chairperson of the CPN (UML), Oli asserted that there is no alternative to the current government until the next elections.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated Bighi River Bridge in Matihani would benefit all sectors, including local trade, industry, factories, education, and healthcare. He added that the bridge would improve connectivity between the local area and Janakpur.
Similarly, Chairperson of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Mahantha Thakur, senior leader and Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari, and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to find long-term solutions to the drinking water crisis in Madhes Province.
They also pledged their commitment to addressing the broader challenges faced by the province from their respective roles.
