KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 137.78, while the selling rate is Rs 138.38.
The euro is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 160.67 and a selling rate of Rs 161.37. Similarly, the UK pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 185.53 and a selling rate of Rs 186.34. The Swiss franc is being exchanged at Rs 172.34 for buying and Rs 173.09 for selling.
The Australian dollar’s buying rate is Rs 89.80 and the selling rate is Rs 90.19. For the Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 100.51 and the selling rate is Rs 100.95. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs 107.48 for buying and Rs 107.94 for selling.
In terms of regional currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.33 for buying and Rs 9.37 for selling. The Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 19.20 for buying and Rs 19.28 for selling.
The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 36.73 and a selling rate of Rs 36.89, while the Qatari riyal is traded at Rs 37.80 for buying and Rs 37.96 for selling.
The Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.26 for buying and Rs 4.28 for selling. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 37.51 for buying and Rs 37.68 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit’s buying rate is Rs 32.53, with a selling rate of Rs 32.67.
One hundred South Korean won are traded at Rs 9.94 for buying and Rs 9.99 for selling. The Swedish kronor is valued at Rs 14.33 for buying and Rs 14.39 for selling. Another currency listed, though without clear identification, is shown at a buying rate of Rs 21.52 and a selling rate of Rs 21.62.
For other international currencies, the Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 17.55 for buying and Rs 17.63 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 451.70 and a selling rate of Rs 453.40. The Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs 365.46 for buying and Rs 367.50 for selling. The Omani rial is exchanged at Rs 357.86 for buying and Rs 359.42 for selling.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees remains fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling.
