Three HoR committees meeting today



KATHMANDU: Three committees under the House of Representatives (HoR) are holding meetings today.

These include the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, the Women and Social Affairs Committee, and the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee.

The Law Committee is scheduled to hold discussions with the National Human Rights Commission regarding the Universal Periodic Review. The Women and Social Affairs Committee will deliberate on the current status of Nepali women employed abroad.

Meanwhile, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee will continue its ongoing discussions on the Media Council Bill, incorporating feedback from those who have proposed amendments.
