Cabinet meeting underway at Baluwatar following PM’s talks with former President Bhandari

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers is currently taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The meeting began at 7 PM and is expected to include several important decisions.

According to sources, the cabinet is primarily discussing regular agenda items, though the appointment of the chairperson of the Press Council Nepal, originally anticipated last week, may also be included.

The meeting commenced shortly after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returned from a discussion with former President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the UML central office in Chyasal.

Following the meeting, the prime minister proceeded directly to Baluwatar, where the cabinet session began.
