KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs. 137, while the selling rate is Rs. 137.60.
The buying rate of one European Euro is set at Rs. 159.91 and the selling rate at Rs. 160.61. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is Rs. 184.19, with a selling rate of Rs. 185. The Swiss Franc is being bought at Rs. 171.93 and sold at Rs. 172.68.
The buying rate of one Australian Dollar stands at Rs. 89.90 and the selling rate at Rs. 90.29. For the Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is Rs. 100.08 and the selling rate is Rs. 100.52. The Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs. 106.90 and sold at Rs. 107.37.
Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.26 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.30. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.10 and sold at Rs. 19.18.
The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is Rs. 36.53 and the selling rate is Rs. 36.69. Similarly, one Qatari Riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.59 and sold at Rs. 37.76.
The buying rate of one Thai Baht is Rs. 4.22, and it is being sold at Rs. 4.27. The UAE Dirham is being bought at Rs. 37.30 and sold at Rs. 37.46, while one Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at Rs. 32.30 and sold at Rs. 32.44.
Likewise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is Rs. 9.93 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.97. The Swedish Krona is being bought at Rs. 14.20 and sold at Rs. 14.26, while the Danish Krone is being bought at Rs. 21.43 and sold at Rs. 21.52.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs. 17.45 and the selling rate at Rs. 17.53. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at Rs. 448.40 and sold at Rs. 450.36. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 363.40 and a selling rate of Rs. 364.99. Likewise, the buying rate for one Omani Rial is Rs. 355.83, while the selling rate is Rs. 357.39.
In terms of the Indian currency, the rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required.
