KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 136.72, while the selling rate is Rs 137.32.
The Euro is being bought at Rs 160.22 and sold at Rs 160.92. One UK Pound Sterling is valued at Rs 185.75 for buying and Rs 186.56 for selling. The Swiss Franc’s buying rate is Rs 171.96 and the selling rate is Rs 172.72.
The Australian Dollar stands at Rs 89.71 for buying and Rs 90.10 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is at Rs 99.98 and Rs 100.42, respectively.
Similarly, the Singapore Dollar is being bought at Rs 106.86 and sold at Rs 107.33. For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.35 and the selling rate is Rs 9.39. One Chinese Yuan is set at Rs 19.06 for buying and Rs 19.14 for selling.
The buying rate of one Saudi Riyal is Rs 36.45 and the selling rate is Rs 36.61. The Qatari Riyal is being bought at Rs 37.51 and sold at Rs 37.67. The Thai Baht stands at Rs 4.20 for buying and Rs 4.22 for selling.
Likewise, the UAE Dirham is listed at Rs 37.22 buying and Rs 37.39 selling. One Malaysian Ringgit is valued at Rs 32.19 and Rs 32.33, respectively.
The rate for 100 South Korean Won is Rs 9.96 for buying and Rs 10.01 for selling. The Swedish Kronor is set at Rs 14.38 for buying and Rs 14.44 for selling.
The Danish Kroner’s rates are Rs 21.47 and Rs 21.57, respectively. One Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at Rs 17.42 and sold at Rs 17.49.
Among high-value currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at Rs 447.50 and sold at Rs 449.46. The Bahraini Dinar is listed with a buying rate of Rs 362.66, though the selling rate was not specified. The Omani Rial is being bought at Rs 355.14 and sold at Rs 356.70.
The rate for 100 Indian Rupees is fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling. Nepal Rastra Bank noted that these rates are subject to revision based on market conditions and that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates. Updated rates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website, it said.
