MORANG: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden today emphasized that political parties must work towards the overall development of the nation in a way that is felt by the people.
Inaugurating the RPP Biratnagar Municipal Committee, Lingden asserted that only under RPP leadership is it possible to achieve comprehensive national development that truly benefits the public.
He clearly stated that the RPP aims to form a government through the people’s mandate to foster national development and implement the party’s agenda. He urged party workers to build the party’s organization from cities to villages and focus on solving the problems faced by the public.
Chairman Lingden highlighted that the RPP is the country’s only democratic party, noting his own success as a village boy rising to become the central chairman. He affirmed that the party’s path is to control corruption and establish good governance in the nation.
Party General Secretary Prahlad Prasad Sah urged party workers to engage directly with the public, as mid-term elections could happen at any time. Provincial Chairman Ram Thapa, District Chairman Gopal Katuwal, and Manoj Basnet, among others, stressed the importance of prioritizing the people in all actions.
Earlier, Chairman Lingden also unveiled “Three Decades of Life in Journalism, Part 1,” a book written by journalist Ashok Paudel.
