Misallocated budget will not be implemented: Chief Minister Shah

KAILALI: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Kamal Bahadur Shah has said that the provincial government will not implement any programs funded by budget allocations made for unnecessary or vested interests.

Speaking at the oath-taking and certificate distribution ceremony of the Nepal Forest Technicians Association Sudurpaschim Province Working Committee held in Dhangadhi today, Chief Minister Shah addressed concerns about the newly announced provincial budget.

“If any program or plan included in the budget is based on vested interests, it will not be implemented,” he said. “Various criticisms have been raised during the budget formulation process. It’s important to analyze what is right and what is not, and I have taken that seriously.”

He urged all stakeholders to act with integrity and emphasized the need to follow proper systems, processes, and procedures. Shah also reiterated his commitment to stand with the people as both a leader and a representative of the government.
