National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 11:15 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

In today’s meeting, the agenda includes responses from the concerned ministers to questions raised during discussions on various ministries.

These include the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission, all under different headings of the Appropriation Bill, 2082.

Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present a proposal for the passage of the Appropriation Bill, 2082, which has been received with a message from the House of Representatives.

Additionally, Finance Minister Paudel will present proposals to consider the ‘Economic Bill, 2082’ and the ‘National Debt Collection Bill, 2082’, both of which were also received with messages from the House of Representatives.

The agenda may also include a proposal by the Finance Minister to pass the ‘Exchange Bill, 2080’, received from the House of Representatives, according to Padam Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Furthermore, National Assembly Secretary Surendra Aryal is expected to table the message received from the House of Representatives concerning the ‘Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080’.
