Prachanda calls for action against manipulation of Civil Service Bill



KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that the manipulation and interference in the Federal Civil Service Bill cannot be tolerated and must be investigated thoroughly.

Addressing the central office-bearers’ meeting of the Young Communist League (YCL) at the party headquarters in Paris Danda on Tuesday, Dahal said efforts were being made to reverse the achievements gained through the blood and sweat of the Nepali people.

“There have been consistent conspiracies to overturn the gains of political transformation. Even in the Federal Civil Service Bill, a conspiracy has taken place,” he said. “We are determined to investigate who was behind this act and initiate action against those involved in the manipulation.”

Dahal warned that the current attempts to reverse the political progress are reminiscent of regressive forces from the past and emphasized the need for vigilance. He also noted that the party had resisted such regressive efforts before and continues to do so now.
