PM Oli launches nationwide tree plantation campaign



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday inaugurated a month-long nationwide tree plantation campaign to mark National Plantation Day.

The campaign, spearheaded by the National Youth Association, began with a special event held at Kankali Park in Chandragiri, Kathmandu.

Prime Minister Oli formally launched the drive by planting saplings, encouraging citizens across the country to participate in environmental conservation efforts.

The campaign is expected to run for one month across various districts, focusing on increasing green cover and raising awareness about climate change and sustainable development.
