NEB publishes SEE results

KATHMANDU: The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) have been published following a meeting of the National Examination Board (NEB) held earlier today.

According to the NEB, 61.81 percent of students who appeared in the examination have been graded.

As per the official data, 48,866 students secured a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 3.60 and 4.00. Likewise, 89,185 students obtained a GPA between 2.80 and 3.60. Another 48,479 students scored a GPA between 2.40 and 2.80, while 28,479 received a GPA between 2.00 and 2.40. Additionally, 2,369 students scored below a 2.00 GPA.

The Board also stated that the results of 126 students have been withheld due to reported irregularities during the examination process. Furthermore, a total of 169,597 students did not receive a GPA.

This includes students who were absent, submitted incomplete documentation, or were disqualified for various reasons.

This year’s results were delayed due to disruptions caused by a nationwide teachers’ protest, which temporarily halted the evaluation of answer sheets.

A total of 514,071 students appeared in this year’s SEE, marking an increase of 49,286 compared to last year’s 464,785 examinees.

Students can check their SEE results by visiting the National Examination Board’s official website at www.neb.gov.np. Alternatively, results can be accessed by dialing 1600 from any landline or mobile phone and following the instructions to enter the symbol number.
