Anti-corruption activist Nabaraj Bohara meets NC Leader Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU: Anti-corruption activist Nabaraj Bohara, who recently completed a 31-day trek on foot from Surkhet to Kathmandu, met with Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala to discuss his campaign for clean governance.

During the meeting, Dr. Koirala expressed his full support for Bohara’s ongoing campaign, stating that he stands firmly in favor of good governance and the “Campaign for Clean Politics.”

Bohara had earlier met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday.

He began his journey on May 18 from Karnali Province, aiming to raise awareness about issues such as governance, development, environmental balance, and animal protection in Karnali. He arrived in Kathmandu on June 17, completing the trek after 31 days on foot.

Bohara’s grassroots movement has drawn national attention, symbolizing growing public frustration with corruption and misgovernance in Nepal’s far-flung provinces.
