UML General Secretary leaves for UK



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel left for the United Kingdom (UK) today to attend the UK convention of the International Nepali Forum. He is accompanied by UML Politburo member Sujita Shakya.

During his visit, Pokharel is expected to meet with members of the Nepali community in the UK as well as various diplomats, according to UML Central Committee member and Europe-America In-charge Ghanashyam Pandey.

Following his UK visit, Pokharel will travel to Qatar to take part in events organized by the UML Party’s Overseas Committee there. He is scheduled to return to Nepal on June 22.
