Paddy plantation begins in Ghyampe Danda (Photos)



LALITPUR: Paddy planting has started in areas outside Lalitpur’s Ring Road since the last week of Jestha.

With the arrival of the monsoon, irrigation systems across the country are being activated, and planting has commenced in regions with canal facilities. This year, with the onset of monsoon and expectations of above-average rainfall, farmers are hopeful for a bumper harvest.
