Three nominated for Supreme Court justice positions



KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has recommended three individuals for appointment as justices of the Supreme Court.

During its meeting on Tuesday, the Council nominated one senior advocate and two chief judges from high courts for the top judicial posts.

The nominees are Senior Advocate Meghraj Pokharel, Chief Judge of the Janakpur High Court Shreekanta Paudel, and Chief Judge of the Dipayal High Court Shanti Singh Thapa.
