Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the exchange rates for most major currencies — including the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, pound, and dinar — have remained stable. On Saturday, most of these currencies had recorded an increase in value.

As per today’s rates, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 136.71 and sold at Rs 137.31 — the same as yesterday.

Similarly, the euro is being bought at Rs 156.13 and sold at Rs 156.81, while the pound sterling is being bought at Rs 185.14 and sold at Rs 185.95.

The buying rate for the Australian dollar is Rs 88.78, with a selling rate of Rs 89.17. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 446.07 for buying and Rs 448.03 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 362.64 and sold at Rs 364.23.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed. It has also clarified that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the most updated figures are available on the central bank’s official website.
