Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published updated foreign currency exchange rates for today (Saturday), showing a decline in the value of most major currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound, Australian dollar, and Kuwaiti dinar.

As per the new rates, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 136.71, while the selling rate is NPR 137.31. In comparison, Friday’s rates were NPR 136.97 (buying) and NPR 137.57 (selling).

The euro is now trading at NPR 156.13 (buying) and NPR 156.81 (selling), down from Friday’s NPR 156.45 and NPR 157.13, respectively.

Similarly, the pound sterling has dropped to NPR 185.14 (buying) and NPR 185.95 (selling), compared to Friday’s NPR 185.87 and NPR 186.68.

The Australian dollar is trading at NPR 88.78 (buying) and NPR 89.17 (selling), down from Friday’s NPR 89.14 and NPR 89.53.

The Kuwaiti dinar now stands at NPR 446.07 (buying) and NPR 448.03 (selling), compared to NPR 446.64 and NPR 448.59 yesterday.

Likewise, the Bahraini dinar has decreased to NPR 362.64 (buying) and NPR 364.23 (selling), from Friday’s NPR 363.30 and NPR 364.89.
