Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Monday), showing mixed trends across major international currencies.

The exchange rates for the US dollar and the Bahraini dinar remain unchanged from yesterday.

However, the value of the euro and the Australian dollar has increased, while the pound sterling and Kuwaiti dinar have declined, according to the central bank.

Today, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs. 136.63, and the selling rate is Rs. 137.23, unchanged from the previous day.

The euro rose slightly today, with the buying rate at Rs. 155.05 and the selling rate at Rs. 155.73, compared to Rs. 154.83 and Rs. 155.51 yesterday.

Similarly, the pound sterling declined, with the buying rate at Rs. 183.91 and the selling rate at Rs. 184.72, down from Rs. 184.11 and Rs. 184.92 on Sunday.

The Australian dollar strengthened, trading at Rs. 87.87 (buying) and Rs. 88.26 (selling), up from Rs. 87.73 and Rs. 88.12 the previous day.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar saw a slight drop, with the buying rate at Rs. 445.27 and the selling rate at Rs. 447.22, compared to Rs. 445.32 and Rs. 447.28 yesterday.

The Bahraini dinar remains steady at Rs. 362.41 (buying) and Rs. 364.01 (selling), the same as the previous day.

Nepal Rastra Bank noted that the exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised as needed.

The official rates set by the central bank may differ from those offered by commercial banks, and the most recent updates are available on the bank’s official website.
