Gold prices down by Rs 1,600 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market declined on Tuesday, while silver saw a slight increase, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Compared to Monday, the price of gold dropped by Rs 1,600 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs 189,300 per tola. In contrast, the price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola, reaching Rs 2,005.

As of today, gold is being traded at USD 3,326 per ounce in the international market, according to reports from global financial media outlets.

Traders say fluctuations in the international bullion market and changes in demand have contributed to the recent pricing shifts in Nepal.
