KATHMANDU: The meeting of ward chairmen elected from the CPN-UML in Bagmati Province is set to begin today.
Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the event at 11 a.m. in Godavari, Lalitpur.
According to Bagmati Province In-charge Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, the meeting aims to gather public expectations to help expand the party’s organization and to shape future policies and programs accordingly.
A total of 359 ward chairmen elected from UML in the 10 districts of Bagmati Province will take part in the gathering organized by the UML Bagmati Province Committee.
As the grassroots representatives, the ward chairmen will share insights into public perceptions of the UML and the current government.
Based on these discussions, the party plans to develop a strategy from the ward level to the central level. The meeting will continue through tomorrow.
