RSP holding Central Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is scheduled for today at 2 p.m. at the party’s central office in Banasthali, according to acting spokesperson Manish Jha.

The meeting is expected to focus on the Supreme Court’s order for the detention of party Chair Rabi Lamichhane, recent political developments, and the alleged involvement of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in an extortion scheme targeting travelers using visit visas.

Prior to this, the RSP convened an emergency virtual meeting of its secretariat and central committee on Saturday.
