KARNALI: The Office of the Chief Minister in Karnali Province has said its attention has been drawn towards the attempt of character assassination of Province Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi through a fake Facebook account.
Issuing a press statement, Shahi’s chief personal secretary Khem Bahadur Singh said that a fake Facebook account operated in the name of CM Mahendra Bahadur Shahi had attempted character assassination of the CM Shahi by posting offensive posts.
The office has urged government agencies, general people, and non-government agencies not to be influenced by the contents posted on the fake account.
The CM’s Office has also demanded the identification of the user of the fake account as well as a stern action against the user. CM Shahi’s Facebook account’s link is mahendra.shahi.165, it said.
