JANAKPURDHAM: The Janamat Party is preparing to recall two of its ministers currently serving in the Madhesh Province government.
According to sources at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the party plans to withdraw Minister for Forest and Environment Tribhuvan Sah and Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism Shakil Ali Miya.
In their place, the party is reportedly set to appoint proportional representation lawmaker Basanta Kushwaha and directly elected lawmaker Sanjay Kumar Yadav as ministers. Kushwaha also serves as the party’s vice-president.
Shah and Miya were appointed to their respective posts following the formation of the Madhesh government under Janamat leader Satish Kumar Singh.
