Ship Operation and Management Bill tabled in National Assembly



KATHMANDU: The report of the committee on the Ship (Operation and Management) Bill, 2024 was presented at today’s meeting of the National Assembly.

Tulsa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, tabled the report during the session.

In the same meeting, National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal presented the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the Martyr Dasharath Chand Health Science University Bill, 2023.

This bill, which originated in the National Assembly, was passed by the upper house on February 12, 2024. The House of Representatives approved it on May 17, 2024.

During the session, Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal also informed members about the official correspondence received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the allocation of responsibilities to members of the Council of Ministers.
