Cabinet meeting postponed as Oli, Deuba prepare for key talks



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba are scheduled to hold talks shortly, according to the Prime Minister’s secretariat.

The meeting is expected to focus primarily on reaching a consensus on the appointment of the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

In connection with this, the regular Cabinet meeting, which usually takes place on Mondays, has been cancelled for today.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting has been postponed.
