Koshi Province Assembly’s seventh session to begin on May 18



BIRATNAGAR: The seventh session of the Koshi Provincial Assembly is scheduled to commence on May 18.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Koshi Provincial Council of Ministers held in Biratnagar on Wednesday.

Provincial Government Spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Rewati Raman Bhandari, informed that the cabinet has recommended the provincial chief to convene the session on the proposed date.

The meeting also resolved to seek the opinion of the Provincial Public Service Commission regarding the formulation and implementation of local government service regulations.

Additionally, it recommended that the Government of Nepal change the administrative center of Koshi Rural Municipality in Sunsari district.

Minister Bhandari further stated that the meeting approved the Factory and Workshop Operation Directive-2082.
