KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the National Assembly’s sixth session was adjourned after just 7 minutes of sitting today.
The meeting, which was scheduled for 1 pm, began on time with National Assembly Speaker Narayan Dahal reading out a letter from the President regarding the convening of the session.
Following this, Speaker Dahal presented a condolence motion for the passing of Deepak Bohara, a former member of the Panchayat, former minister, and current member of the House of Representatives.
The National Assembly session was adjourned after expressing condolences over Bohara’s death. The next meeting is scheduled for April 27 at 1:15 pm.
