UML observing 76th anniversary of Nepal Communist Party today



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is organizing a special event today (Tuesday) to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

UML Central Office Secretary Dr. Bhishma Adhikari shared that the event will be held in the afternoon at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, Kamaladi.

During the program, the party will honor seven prominent individuals who have played a vital role in the growth of the Nepali communist movement, recognizing them as “Communist Warriors.”

The honorees include Lal Bahadur Bishwakarma from Kanchanpur, the late Ratna Sharma Neupane, Bachaspati Devkota from Gorkha, Shanta Manvi from Kathmandu, Satyanarayan Mandal from Saptari, Shobharam Basnet from Dang, and Haricharan Shiwakoti from Jhapa.
