KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for Tuesday. As per the central bank, the US dollar is being bought at NPR 135.91 and sold at NPR 136.51.
The euro is valued at NPR 156.70 for buying and NPR 157.39 for selling. Similarly, the British pound is exchanged at NPR 181.93 (buying) and NPR 182.73 (selling), while the Swiss franc is set at NPR 168.45 and NPR 169.19, respectively.
The Australian dollar’s rates are NPR 87.27 for buying and NPR 87.66 for selling, and the Canadian dollar is traded at NPR 98.39 and NPR 98.73. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is NPR 104.21 and the selling rate is NPR 104.67.
Ten Japanese yen are exchanged at NPR 9.65 (buying) and NPR 9.69 (selling), and one Chinese yuan is valued at NPR 18.64 and NPR 18.73. The Saudi riyal stands at NPR 36.23 for buying and NPR 36.39 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 37.28 and NPR 37.45.
The Thai baht trades at NPR 4.11 (buying) and NPR 4.12 (selling), and the UAE dirham at NPR 36.00 and NPR 36.17. The Malaysian ringgit is listed at NPR 31.10 for buying and NPR 31.24 for selling.
For 100 South Korean won, the exchange rate is NPR 9.57 (buying) and NPR 9.62 (selling). The Swedish kronor is NPR 14.30 (buying) and NPR 14.36 (selling), and the Danish kronor is set at NPR 20.99 and NPR 21.21.
The Hong Kong dollar is exchanged at NPR 17.51 for buying and NPR 17.59 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 444.06 (buying) and NPR 446.02 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at NPR 360.57 and NPR 362.16, and the Omani rial at NPR 353.02 and NPR 354.58. Lastly, the rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
