Govt allots Rs 30 million for Terai-Madhes prosperity



BIRTAMOD: The federal government has appropriated a total of Rs 22.5 million to execute a housing program with the intent of providing housing facilities to disadvantaged families in Birtamod and Arjundhara municipalities of Jhapa district.

Lawmaker Pabitra Niraula Kharel informed that the federal government has allotted a budget of Rs 22.5 million for executing the housing program along with other social activities.

Under this program, houses would be constructed for the disadvantaged community people in the municipalities.

According to her, the remaining budget would be spent on constructing community building in Buddhashanti rural municipality as well as completing the construction of community building of Coach Rajbanshi in Kankai municipality.
