Nepal Bar Association elects new leadership



KATHMANDU: Senior advocate Dr. Vijay Prasad Mishra has been elected as the President, and Kedar Prasad Koirala has been elected as the General Secretary in the recent election for the central executive committee of the Nepal Bar Association.

Mishra secured 2,431 votes, defeating Raman Kumar Shrestha, while Koirala won with 2,367 votes, defeating Yagya Mani Neupane.

Both Mishra and Koirala ran for election under the same panel, and other office bearers from their panel also won by significant margins.
