Japanese Ambassador Toru visits religious sites in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Maeda Toru, visited several historic and religious sites in Birgunj today.

Ambassador Toru arrived directly from Simara Airport and began his visit with worship at the renowned Gahawamai Temple.

Accompanied by embassy representatives, he is also scheduled to visit Ghadiarwa Pond and the Ghantaghar (clock tower) in Birgunj.

Chief District Officer of Parsa, Ganesh Aryal, said the Ambassador’s visit is related to official engagements with the Birgunj Metropolitan City.
