KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the Koshi Province Tourism Year, 2082 BS.
The formal inauguration ceremony will take place at the RR Garden in Laligurans Municipality-1, Tehrathum, on Wednesday, March 9, at 11:30 AM.
Mayor Arjun Babu Mabohang confirmed that Prime Minister Oli will inaugurate the event.
The inauguration will be organized by the provincial government, with cooperation from Laligurans Municipality, Mayor Mabohang said.
In addition, a ‘panel discussion’ will be held on Tuesday (April 8), the day before the inauguration, on the topics of ‘Democracy and Environment’ and ‘Biodiversity and Gurras Tourism’.
Political analysts Mumaram Khanal, Keshav Dahal, Mohan Timsina, Mayor Mabohang, and Secretary of Koshi Province, Bishal Ghimire, are scheduled to participate in the discussion on ‘Democracy and Environment’.
The Koshi Province Government has declared 2082 BS as the Koshi Province Tourism Year to promote and develop tourism in the province.
