Two parliamentary committees set to convene today



KATHMANDU: Two committees under the Federal Parliament—the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee—are scheduled to hold meetings today.

The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will meet at 11 am in its designated meeting room at Singha Durbar, as per the Parliament Secretariat.

The agenda includes the submission of a subcommittee report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2023, which outlines provisions for the formation, operation, and conditions of service within the Federal Civil Service.

Additionally, a principled discussion will be held on the Construction Materials Management and Regulation Bill, 2023.

Likewise, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will convene at 11:30 am in Singha Durbar to deliberate on its upcoming programs and legislative priorities.
