Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday), with most major currencies seeing a decline.

The exchange rates for the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, pound sterling, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar have decreased again after a brief rise yesterday.

As of today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar stands at 136 rupees 46 paisa, while the selling rate is 137 rupees 06 paisa. Yesterday, the buying and selling rates were 136 rupees 96 paisa and 137 rupees 56 paisa, respectively.

Similarly, the euro is being traded at a buying rate of 146 rupees 99 paisa and a selling rate of 147 rupees 63 paisa, compared to yesterday’s 147 rupees 70 paisa and 148 rupees 35 paisa.

The pound sterling has also dropped, with today’s buying rate at 176 rupees 42 paisa and selling rate at 177 rupees 19 paisa, down from yesterday’s 177 rupees 18 paisa and 177 rupees 95 paisa.

The Australian dollar is being traded at a buying rate of 85 rupees 86 paisa and a selling rate of 86 rupees 24 paisa, lower than yesterday’s 86 rupees 46 paisa and 86 rupees 83 paisa.

The Kuwaiti dinar has also declined, with today’s buying rate set at 442 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate at 444 rupees 45 paisa, compared to yesterday’s 444 rupees 06 paisa and 446 rupees.

Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has seen a slight drop, with today’s buying rate at 361 rupees 97 paisa and selling rate at 363 rupees 56 paisa, whereas yesterday, the rates stood at 363 rupees 27 paisa and 364 rupees 86 paisa.

These exchange rates are subject to fluctuations based on market conditions, and Nepal Rastra Bank updates them daily.
