KATHMANDU: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Nepal Police has arrested seven persons including three Indian nationals with drugs.
The arrested Indian nationals are Raja Kunal, 37, of Sitamadi and Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, 32, and Abhishek Kumar Jaiswal, 37, of Bagarniya of Bihar.
They were made public through a press conference organized on Thursday.
Police recovered 3,116 ampoules of Diazepam, Phenergan and Norphin from their possession.
They were arrested from Shantinagar in the capital, police said. The drugs were concealed in paint buckets in a jeep and a car.
Likewise, police nabbed three drugs peddlers from Gokarneshwor.
The arrested are Umit Lal Sha, 43, of Golbazaar-4, Ashok Tamang, 23, of Golbazaar-3 of Siraha, Surendra Lohani of Triyuga-13 of Udayapur and Pema Lama, 28, of Rosi-7 in Kavre.
Police seized 1,200 ampoules of Diazepam, Phenergan and Norphin from their possession.
