Curfew imposed as pro-monarchy demonstrators engage in arson and vandalism



KATHMANDU: A curfew has been imposed until 10 pm tonight in response to widespread arson and vandalism by pro-monarchy demonstratirs in various parts of Kathmandu.

The District Administration Office issued the curfew order after protests by the royalist group turned violent.

The Chief District Officer of Kathmandu announced a curfew in the areas of Koteshwor, Tinkune, and Jadibuti.
