Unified Socialists call meeting of all committees

KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialists has called for a meeting of its subordinate committees by March 23 to approve the policies and programs of the socialist campaign aimed at promoting good governance, employment, prosperity, and other social transformations across the country.

The meeting has been convened to ensure the effective implementation of the socialist campaign, which will run from March 15 to May 5. The campaign is focused on advancing social changes in various sectors across Nepal.

A joint meeting of the party district committees from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur was held at the party’s central office today. Additionally, a meeting of the central front organization has been scheduled for March 20.

This meeting, which will take place at the central office in Aloknagar at 3:00 PM, will discuss the preparation, management, and strategies for maximizing public participation in a protest and general meeting organized by the Socialist Front in Kathmandu on March 28, according to Damodar Aryal, Deputy Head of the party’s Central Propaganda Department.

The party aims to formulate a strategy to strengthen the organization of subordinate committees and enhance the party’s capability, strength, and credibility. Following the approval of the political campaign, preparations are underway to expand it to wards, villages, provinces, and the central level. The meeting of the party’s Kathmandu Valley Province Committee has been scheduled for March 21, while the meeting of the Provincial Liaison Committee is set for March 22.
