Cabinet endorses procedure for South Asian Games



KATHMANDU: A meeting of Council of Ministers has endorsed a procedure for the 13th edition of the South Asian Games (SAG) slated to be held in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

According to a privy source, a Cabinet meeting on Thursday passed the procedure for the regional sporting extravaganza scheduled to be organized on December 1-10.

“Now, the preparations will move ahead as per the procedure,” the source told Khabarhub.

The Ministry of Sports has demanded Rs five billion budget for SAG.
