KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Monday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is Rs 138.70, while the selling rate is Rs 139.30.

The exchange rate for the Euro is Rs 150.26 for buying and Rs 150.91 for selling. The British Pound stands at Rs 179.22 for buying and Rs 180.00 for selling.

The Australian Dollar is set at Rs 87.46 for buying and Rs 87.84 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is Rs 96.46 for buying and Rs 96.87 for selling.

For Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen per 10 units is Rs 9.37 for buying and Rs 9.41 for selling. The Chinese Yuan is Rs 19.17 for buying and Rs 19.25 for selling.

The Saudi Riyal is Rs 36.97 for buying and Rs 37.13 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at Rs 38.05 for buying and Rs 38.22 for selling.

Additionally, the Kuwaiti Dinar is R 450.11 for buying and Rs 452.05 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is Rs 367.92 for buying and Rs 369.51 for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15. The central bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to change as needed, and commercial banks may set their own rates. The latest updates will be available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
